To all Managers and Coaches:
Every kid loves to see his name in the papers.
Every week LMF sends out a mass email to the local papers with coverage and reports about our games that have happened. If you want your team to be included: FILE A REPORT.
Please submit a quick review of your game to natek@endoplasmic.com . I'll then compile all reports for the association and then submit them to the papers.
To include:
- Title (Away Team Vs Home Team ) eg: Langley Stampeders 17 North Surrey Bears 27
- Location . Were you playing away? At what field?
- Highlight first / second half; offensive plays; defensive plays; special teams; great effort; most improved.
IMPORTANT : DEADLINE is SUNDAY EVENING
- due to the papers deadline, you MUST have your report submitted by this time in order to see your story that coming FRIDAY's edition.
- Late submissions will be forwarded but may not make that edition; therefore bumped to the next edition.
- FILE EVEN ON A LOSS. Regardless of the outcome of the game, this is about putting focus on the kids. Things to consider are: Highlight a great play, tackle or effort! There is nothing worst than getting zero reports all season because the team failed to win by only a few points.
- Remember: IT'S ONLY A GAME. Pass the love around. If you know it's going to be the same player every time: put someone else's name in there as an assist (even though they may have been just gawking at the play). You'd be amazed at how much of a difference in confidence it makes! |
