Senior Bowl is the BC High School All Star Camp.

It runs 2 a day practices at the Lions facility over spring break, drafts the camp to 2 teams on Thursday, and plays a game on Saturday.

I regard this camp as the best place to get an "unknown" found. We have had 3 players go to camp...never to return...they picked up a CIS ride!

Alex Schell (5Ys UBC Safety ENGINEERING Degree),

Neil MacKinlay (5 yrs sfu CIS D PLayer of year, #42 Winnipeg Blue Bombers, History Degree),

Drew Jameson (still in SFU Corner )

This year we have placed more players in the Senior Bowl than ANY other program...including the Provincial Champions from High School.

Our 5 (nobody else has more than 3) will represent LMF well, but most wont be back, I expect a number of offers from CIS schools.

!!!!!!Success!!!!!

Adam Johnson,,, Son of Gord,, and Helen (the original queen of LMF) just announced a 5 yr commitment to SFU ($25,000 scholarship). Adam played many yrs for LMF and went on to the Air Force.

Adam is the claasic "late maturer" he is still growing into his body at 21. 4 yrs of solid training could turn him into a real beast,,with a degree!

WE now have 3 on SFU with more to come

Congrats Adam

I was down at Senior Bowl today..If you want to see our guys play the game is noon Saturday SFU

Met SFU coaching staff... they were very impressed with our players currently on their roster (3) and future prospects. They hope to land 10 players from the camp..thats a huge number.. past years only 2 or 3 total got offers.

U of Calgary was real impressed with McVeigh
U of A the same
UBC looking for specific positions and spent time with the O line and D line

Chris Gimes , Perry Harder , Kreig Barker all looking good.

The camp is on the new turf field and inspite of the rain they are having great workouts (9-11 12-2 with meetings after).
