MARCH / APRIL – REGISTRATION STARTS
MAY – SKILLS DAY / OPEN HOUSE – This is a great time to introduce your child to a small glimpse of a structured football program even if they have never played before. In a relaxed fun format we will teach some basic football drills, ball handling, positional play and more. We end the afternoon with a freezie for each child and a group chalk talk and cheer with LMF coaches and the professional football players in attendance.
LAST WEEK IN JUNE – PRACTICES START
3RD WEEKEND IN AUGUST – GOLDEN HELMUT TOURNAMENT
– Over two days, the Golden Helmut is a round robin controlled scrimmage
tournament with visiting associations from around the league.
LABOUR DAY WEEKEND – OFFICIAL START OF THE SEASON
